    Jose Rafael Cruz-Quiles, 89, of Williamsburg, originally from Morovis, Puerto Rico, passed away on April 1, 2020. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army where he was heavily wounded. Jose received a bachelor’s degree in education where he went off to teach both public and private schools for 45 years in Puerto Rico. He had a love for teaching children. Jose loved all things that were sweet, if it was sweet, he would eat it. He enjoyed watching movies and listening to the radio.     James Wilson Boyd, Jr., 77, of Williamsburg, passed away on April 2, 2020. James was a graduate of Smithfield High School and later on graduated from Old Dominion University. He was a CPA and small business owner. He served in the United States Army as a Mechanical Maintenance Officer. James is preceded in death by his parents, James Wilson Boyd, Sr. and Elizabeth Bryant Boyd. He is survived by his partner, Joyce Jordan McDaniels; step-daughters, Rebecca Michael, Mildred Flower, and Kathy Lavista; sister, Linda Boyd; and nephews, James and Roberto Puig.     Connie went to be in glory with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 30. She was born on September 21, 1948 to Mary Lattig Scholl and Edmund R. Scholl in Irvington, New Jersey.  She went to Perth Amboy High School and then Caldwell College in New Jersey. While in college she met and fell in love with Peter Schaub.     Jane Prowant, 92, passed away on March 26, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Edward Prowant. She is cherished in memory by her son, Dale Prowant, Jr. (Jane); daughters, Joanne Taylor (Melvin), Gail Griffin, Debra Whisenant (Pete) and Dottie Prowant (Robert); 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Jane retired from Colonial Williamsburg as a Payroll Clerk and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. A private family burial will take place at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
